WE ARE fruitbelt
Our aromatic tonics blend tart juice from heritage fruit with orchard bitters and a drop of honey for a half-pint picnic, a perfect daily tonic, and one snappy mixer
What is a tonic?
Do tell!
Tonics (from the Latin 'tonify') first appeared in the early 19th century, when bitters distilled from botanicals were mixed with carbonated water. They were a pleasant tasting, almost medicinal concoction rumored to refresh the senses and invigorate the body.
Nowadays, a tonic is meant to indicate a drink whose functional attributes—ranging from digestive to adaptogenic—distinguish it from a conventional soda. Made with aromatic botanicals, tart fruit and honey, Fruitbelt Tonics are a zesty alternative to alcohol or sugary soda.
APPLE Marigold
Apple Marigold is made at Vander Mill Cidery with pressed Apple juice blended with Verjus (pressed unripe grapes), orchard bitters (botanicals sourced from MI and distilled by Robyn Cleveland) and honey from Hudsonville MI.
